Dr. Ikenna Okafor, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Keves Global Leasing Limited, has proposed a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering generational wealth for Anambra State. Okafor urged 1,000 Anambra billionaires to collectively raise USD 1 billion, envisioning a transformative impact on the state’s prosperity.
Addressing fellow affluent individuals, Okafor called for unity in contributing USD 1 million each towards investments designed to uplift the state. He emphasized the need for Anambra’s wealthy citizens to channel their resources into initiatives that leave a lasting legacy and positively impact the community.
Okafor made this impassioned plea following his recognition with an honorary Doctor of Entrepreneurial Innovation degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, during a special convocation ceremony. He underscored the abundant opportunities for impactful investments within Anambra, urging affluent individuals to redirect their financial resources towards projects that would benefit future generations.
“I want to challenge 1,000 Anambra billionaires to each contribute $1 million towards investments that will secure generational wealth for our people. Let us not squander our resources solely on extravagance; instead, let us invest in initiatives that will elevate our communities,” Okafor asserted.
