Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of the Governor of Anambra State and founder of Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, has expressed appreciation for the continuous efforts of the Ebuka Okafor Foundation in promoting humanitarian services within the state. She also commended other individuals and organizations aligning with the “leave no one behind” ideology of the current administration in Anambra.
The Ebuka Okafor Foundation, a charitable organization active for eleven years, focuses on interventions in education, health, and human capital investments. In its 2023 edition, the foundation provided Christmas support and free medical checks for three thousand widows from various towns in the state.
During the event, Mrs. Soludo praised Chief Ebuka Okafor, the founder of the non-governmental organization, for contributing to the well-being of the community and utilizing his resources to positively impact humanity. Describing the foundation’s achievements over the past eleven years as phenomenal, she urged other affluent individuals in Anambra to emulate such philanthropic gestures.
Mrs. Soludo emphasized that the Public Private Community Partnership framework of the present administration aims to engage all stakeholders in the state’s development.
Chief Okafor, while briefing the governor’s wife on the foundation’s origin and activities, highlighted its commitment to touching lives and adding value to humanity through charitable initiatives. He commended Mrs. Soludo for supporting the foundation and praised her works of charity and promotion of healthy living through the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative.
As part of the Christmas Outreach in Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area, each of the three thousand widows received a Christmas support package, including a bag of rice, beans, garri, cash, and a roll of wrapper.
