The video of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arriving in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday to attend the Saudi-Africa Summit, which is set to be held on Friday, has emerged.
In a video courtesy of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the Nigerian leader was received by officials of the Saudi Arabian government at the King Khaled International Airport, Riyadh.
Tinubu was received by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh, His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Abdulaziz and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Yahaya Lawal.
The President was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman; Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu.
Others are the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; and the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Mallam Jalal Arabi.
Tinubu Launches Digital Birth, Death Registration System
Meanwhile, President Tinubu, on Wednesday, launched the Digital Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System (CRVS) and the National Geospatial Data Repository.
Naija News reports that the President launched the two solutions at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja on Wednesday.
President Tinubu also inaugurated the National Coordination Committee for CRVS, stressing that the system is the basic building block of an identity ecosystem.
