As the forthcoming CAPPS Academic Championship Contest draws closer, more information concerning the Code of Conduct of the Contest continues to filter out.
In the latest Release, the Organizers reminded the general public that the” CAPPS Academic Championship is a new educational Organization with strategy for promoting quality and functional education in response to making the system of functional education”One”. “It is a new developmental roadmap in schools without regards to ethnic, religious and political leaning towards discovering a scheme for Nigerian youths.”
Furthermore, the Release spelt out Code as follows: “Code of Contest: The Contest covers all the 37 States. Every pupil/ student shall have equal opportunity to contest through the selection process in accordance with their academic performance.
Competition Format: The Contest at the School level is divided into two parts. The Qualifiers and the Main Competition which is also at the National level. The Qualifier: The Qualifier shall determine the 37 teams to compete in the main competition and it consists of 5 steps.
They are as follows: School/ Ward Level 2. Local Government Area Level,3. State Educational Level 4. State Level: This is the final stage for selection of the Qualifiers which produces the single Team to represent the state at the National Level. 5. National Level: The emerging 37 Teams from from the respective team to compete at the National Level.” Continuing, the Organizers informed that: “Registration Is Currently Ongoing:.
Category 1. Corporate Registration Form is #10,000 per school. Participant Fee is#1,500 per Candidate.
Category 2: Individual Registration Form is#1,000. Individual Participation Fee is #1,500 for a particular area of the Championship.
