The Lagos State Government has charged Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mr. Drambi Vandi in connection with the suspected Christmas Day murder of Omobolanle Raheem, a lawyer from Lagos.
The defendant was charged by the State with one count of murder in violation of Section 223 of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015 in this case.
Vandi entered a not-guilty plea.
The arraignment, which was supposed to start at 9am, was delayed until Vandi’s attorney, Mr. Adetokunbo Odutola, showed in at around 11am.
